DC Thomson Media are looking for an Insight Assistant to become part of its Insight team based in Dundee.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to start your Insight career with DC Thomson Media. Our Insight Unit’s key aim is to place the consumer at the heart of our business and ensure our content producing and commercial teams fully understand their audiences and markets.
In this role, you will work to support the Insight Partner to deliver both quantitative and qualitative research projects so that research findings become valuable insights to drive revenue and profitability for DC Thomson Media. A key element of this role will be to look after our online research panels, to ensure engagement and recruitment are top priorities.
You will have the opportunity to work on research projects of all kinds, develop a strong understanding of media and marketing industry data as well as develop your reporting and insight story telling skills across many markets and audiences.
If you are well organised, analytical and a lateral thinker, this is the role for you. You will be receive support and coaching by an experienced team to help you thrive and develop your skills in your new role at DC Thomson Media.
- Educated to Degree level or equivalent in a marketing related discipline
- An understanding of modern research methods and techniques
- Good presentation skills
- Good information analysis skills
- A good organiser
- Good report writing and presentation ability
- A high-level of competency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
