When did you join DC Thomson?
In March 2013
What’s your role in DC Thomson?
I joined the company as a Digital/Enterprise Assistant – an admin based role supporting both our Enterprise and Digital departments. I moved to the Digital department fully in 2014 and I’m now in the role of Junior Project Manager supporting the delivery of Digital based projects across many of our brands.
What makes your working day enjoyable? The online world is so dynamic we’re continuously evolving, learning and adapting as a team. Digital have been on a real journey over the past couple of years and it’s exciting to be a part of that.
Tell us a little about the part you play in making DC Thomson a success?
I studied languages at university, so I’m fascinated by the languages our developers know and use. I think of a PM role as translating developer – speak to ‘make stuff happen.’
What is your highlight of being part of DC Thomson?
It felt good seeing the first site I project managed go live, that gave me a real sense of achievement
